The Animal Clinic of Kearney was founded in 1988 by Dr Wayne Morris. The practice started out as small store front business. Construction of the current facility was completed in 1996 to accommodate practice growth and to provide facilities for expanded services. An addition to the building and remodeling of a portion of the existing building occurred in 2002 to provide additional office space, expand the laboratory and pharmacy and to accommodate increased demand for grooming.

We are a small animal practice for dogs and cats.

As a native of Kearney, the location of the practice holds special meaning for Dr Morris. As a child, Dr. Morris spent much time during the summers and after school at his grandparent’s house, which still stands across the street from the clinic. Dr Morris’ vivid memories of accompanying his grandmother to Mr. and Mrs. Lober’s house where The Animal Clinic of Kearney now stands serves as a reminder of what this community once was and how it has dramatically changed over the years. The Animal Clinic of Kearney has been part of the evolution of this community and is a state of the art facility providing quality veterinary care for your pet.
